Samsung Washing Machine in Israel: Which Model to Buy in 2026

For most families, a 9 kg Samsung washing machine with 1,400 RPM, AI EcoBubble and steam, for about ₪⁦1,800–2,900,⁩ is the balanced choice.

Israeli price comparison pages list about 140 Samsung washing models, but most sales are concentrated in about ten. Per store prices in November 2026, this is the picture:

• 7 kg: WW7ST4043CE and WW70FG3M05AW, about ₪⁦1,400–2,000.⁩
• 8 kg: WW8STA046AH from about ₪1,260, WW80FG3M05AW from about ₪1,650, WW80CGC045AE from about ₪1,690, WW80FG5L32AE from about ₪1,840.
• 9 kg: WW9STA046AH from about ₪1,310, WW90CGC045AE from about ₪1,810, WW90DG5U35AE from about ₪1,860, WW90DG6U95LK with auto-dosing from about ₪2,200.
• 11 kg: WW11CGC04DAEKJ and WW11BB5044AW from about ₪2,170.
• Washer dryers: WD90T6542BE (9 kg wash, 6 kg dry) from about ₪2,180 and WD18DB8995BZ (18/11 kg) from about ₪7,500.

What separates the groups? The cheap models (ST series) give an inverter motor, EcoBubble and a 1,400 RPM spin, but no Wi-Fi and a lower rating on some pages. The mid-range models (CGC, DG5, FG5) add AI EcoBubble, Hygiene Steam, SmartThings and class A. DG6 models add auto-dosing.

Who is Samsung especially right for? Anyone who wants lots of features at a mid-range price, and anyone already using the SmartThings app for other appliances. A point worth noting: Samsung has models that look almost identical and differ by one letter at the end of the code (for example WW90DG5U35AE and WW90DG5U35TE, or WW90DG6U95LK and WW90DG6U95LX). In most cases the difference is color or finish, and the price can vary by a few dozen to a few hundred shekels. If the color does not matter to you, compare both codes and choose the cheaper one, provided the warranty is the same.

In short: Samsung gives a lot of spec per shekel, and what is left for you to check is the warranty, the depth and the rating.

Samsung's code tells you almost everything: the first two letters are the appliance type, the next digits are the capacity, and the letters after them are the series.

• WW: washing machine only. WD: washer dryer. DV: dryer.
• The digits after WW: 7 or 70 is 7 kg, 8 or 80 is 8 kg, 9 or 90 is 9 kg, 11 is 11 kg. In the WD18DB8995BZ, 18 means 18 kg of washing.
• The letters after the capacity mark the generation and series: ST on base models, CGC, DG and FG on newer models. The higher the number after them (5, 6, 8), the more features usually within the same generation.
• The letters at the end of the code (AE, AH, TE, LK, AW, AB) mainly mark color, finish or a version for a specific market.

Why does this matter? Because comparison pages show models like the WW80FG5L32AE and WW80FG5L32AB, or the WW90DG6U95LK and WW90DG6U95LX, side by side. Sometimes the difference is only the door color and the price. In other cases there is a spec difference: the WW80FG5L32AE is a slim model with a spin of up to 1,200 RPM, while the WW80FG3M05AW is 8 kg with 1,400 RPM.

The practical rule: before comparing prices, copy the full code from the store and check the three key figures on the product page: RPM, depth and energy rating. Do not rely on the photo, since most models of the same generation look almost identical.

Another tip: if you see a model whose code does not appear on Samsung Israel's website, or the seller cannot say who the importer is, it may be a parallel import (yevu makbil). That does not mean the machine is bad, but the warranty will be the seller's. More on this in the importer section.

The Samsung 8 kg is sold in four main versions, from a base machine at about ₪1,260 to a slim model with Wi-Fi at about ₪2,490.

Per the specs and prices on comparison pages:

• WW8STA046AH: 1,400 RPM, Digital Inverter, EcoBubble, Hygiene Steam, Smart Check. Class B per most sellers. About ₪⁦1,260–2,490.⁩ For anyone looking for the lowest price.
• WW80FG3M05AW: 8 kg with 1,400 RPM, from about ₪1,650. The new generation of the base model.
• WW80CGC045AE: 1,400 RPM, from about ₪1,690, from the same series as the WW90CGC045AE.
• WW80FG5L32AE: the slim model, about ⁦47 cm⁩ deep per one seller, spin of up to 1,200 RPM, AI EcoBubble and SmartThings. About ₪⁦1,840–2,490.⁩

How to choose? If you have normal depth and line-dry, the WW8STA046AH or WW80FG3M05AW give most of the benefit. If the niche is shallow, the WW80FG5L32AE is one of the few 8 kg machines under ⁦50 cm⁩ deep, alongside the LG WFS8014WB. Slim and compact machines are detailed in our small washing machine guide.

And importantly: the gap between a Samsung 8 kg and a Samsung 9 kg from the same series is usually only ₪⁦100–200.⁩ For example, the WW80CGC045AE starts at about ₪1,690 and the WW90CGC045AE at about ₪1,810. Also watch the rating. The WW8STA046AH is cheap, but per most sellers it is class B, and one seller writes A. The annual electricity difference between B and A is a few dozen shekels, but if a class A model is close in price, prefer it.

And how to choose between 7 and 8 kg on Samsung? The WW7ST4043CE and WW70FG3M05AW cost about ₪⁦1,400–2,000,⁩ i.e. no less than some 8 kg models. Unless space is especially limited, 8 kg gives more value at the same price. A detailed comparison is in our 7 kg washing machine guide.

A Samsung 9 kg with AI EcoBubble and 1,400 RPM, for about ₪⁦1,800–2,900,⁩ is the model that best suits a family of ⁦3–4.⁩

Three notable models on comparison pages:

• WW90CGC045AE: class A on the new standard, Hygiene Steam, Wi-Fi and a 15-minute program. About ₪⁦1,810–2,690⁩ in about 27 stores.
• WW90DG5U35AE: the newer generation, with AI Energy Mode, a 39-minute Super Speed program and Less Microfiber. About ₪⁦1,860–2,890⁩ in about 29 stores.
• WW90DG6U95LK: the same generation with auto-dosing (Auto Dispense) and AI Wash, about ₪⁦2,200–3,090.⁩

There is also the WW9STA046AH, a basic Samsung 9 kg starting at about ₪1,310, one of the cheapest big-brand 9 kg machines.

What is the practical difference between the CGC and the DG5? Both are 9 kg, 1,400 RPM and AI EcoBubble. Per sellers, the DG5 adds AI Energy mode, which manages electricity use via the app, and a 39-minute quick program for a full load. If the price gap that week is under ₪100, take the newer one. If the gap is bigger, the CGC gives almost the same thing.

When to pay for auto-dosing? Auto-dosing draws detergent and softener from an internal tank according to load size and soil level. It saves detergent and prevents excess powder, which the Standards Institution of Israel notes causes white marks. For a family that washes ⁦6–8⁩ times a week it is convenient and pays off; for a couple it is a luxury.

On dimensions: the WW90CGC045AE is listed by one seller at about 60×85×⁦59.5 cm⁩. That is a normal machine depth, so in a niche shallower than ⁦55 cm⁩, better check the slim 8 kg models.

Another family consideration: noise. Samsung does not publish decibel figures for most models on comparison pages, so if the machine stands in an open kitchen or near the kids' rooms, ask the store for the full European label, which shows the spin noise class.

For a family of 5 or more, Samsung offers 11 kg at the price of other brands' 10 kg machines, and washer dryers from 9 to 18 kg.

Per store prices in November 2026:

• WW11CGC04DAEKJ: 11 kg, 1,400 RPM, AI EcoBubble, Hygiene Steam and SmartThings, about ₪⁦2,170–3,290⁩ in about 30 stores.
• WW11BB5044AW: 11 kg, 1,400 RPM, from about ₪2,160.
• WW11BB9445GB: 11 kg, from about ₪2,950.

For comparison, the 10 kg Bosch WGG25402IL starts at about ₪2,470 and the LG WF10114WBW at about ₪2,050. In other words, Samsung gives an extra kilo in the same price range. A full comparison of large machines is in our 10 kg washing machine guide.

Among washer dryers, the Samsung WD90T6542BE washes 9 kg and dries 6 kg, starting at about ₪2,180. The WD11DG5B15BB washes 11 and dries 6 kg from about ₪3,620, and the huge WD18DB8995BZ washes 18 and dries 11 kg from about ₪7,500. Note the gap between washing and drying capacity: on most washer dryers you dry only about two-thirds of what you wash at a time. If there is room for two appliances, a separate washer and dryer are faster.

With a large machine, watch two things: the niche depth (11 kg machines are deeper than ⁦8–9⁩ kg ones), and a 1,400 RPM spin, because a full drum leaves a lot of water in the clothes.

The features that actually affect the wash on a Samsung are EcoBubble, load sensing and steam; Wi-Fi and auto-dosing are convenience, not wash quality.

What each one does, per Samsung and sellers:

• EcoBubble and AI EcoBubble: mix detergent with air and water before it enters the drum, so it penetrates well even in lukewarm water. This lets you wash at ⁦20–40⁩°C and save on heating.
• Automatic weighing: the machine weighs the laundry and adjusts water and time. On almost every model.
• Hygiene Steam: steam meant to reduce bacteria and allergens. Useful for baby clothes and bedding.
• Super Speed / Quick Wash: a 39 or 15-minute program. The 15-minute one suits a small, lightly soiled load.
• SmartThings (Wi-Fi): notifications, remote start and program downloads. Convenient, not essential.
• AI Energy Mode: managing electricity use via the app.
• Auto Dispense: auto-dosing, only on models like the WW90DG6U95LK.
• Drum Clean / Eco Drum Clean: a drum-cleaning program without chemicals, at ⁦60–70⁩°C.

What not to pay extra for: a high number of programs (most of us use ⁦3–4⁩), a fancy display and Wi-Fi if you will not use the app. Better to put the difference into capacity or a better energy rating.

Another feature some sellers list is a ceramic heating element, described as reducing limescale buildup. That is relevant in Israel, where water is hard in most areas, but it does not exempt you from maintenance. Samsung itself recommends Drum Clean regularly, and Eco Drum Clean+ models show a reminder every 40 washes.

For Samsung washing machines, product pages list two names as the official importer's warranty providers: Samsung Israel and Newpro; make sure one of them appears on the invoice.

What we saw in November 2026:

• WW90CGC045AE and WW8STA046AH: sellers listing Samsung Israel as the official importer.
• WW90DG5U35AE, WW80FG5L32AE and WW70FG3M05AW: sellers listing Newpro warranty.
• Some offers say only "official importer" with no name, and one of them has a 12-month warranty.
• One seller lists a Samsung promotion: 4 years of service for ₪99. Such promotions change, so ask for the terms.

Why does it matter? With a washing machine almost every fault requires a technician at home. The official importer has a service center and spare parts for models sold in Israel. With parallel import the warranty is the seller's, and repair times and parts availability may differ.

What to ask for before paying:

• The warranty provider's name and warranty length, in writing.
• Whether there is a separate motor warranty and for how long.
• A Hebrew manual and an Israeli plug, as the Standards Institution of Israel recommends checking.
• Installation terms: with most sellers a washing machine does not require a technician's installation, but extended-warranty promotions sometimes require registration within a set time.

Samsung recommends running a drum-clean program regularly, cleaning the debris filter ⁦5–6⁩ times a year and the water inlet mesh filter once or twice a year.

Per Samsung's support page:

• Eco Drum Clean: heats water to ⁦60–70⁩°C and removes mold and dirt from the drum and door seal, without detergent. On models with Eco Drum Clean+ the reminder flashes every 40 washes.
• Do not add regular detergent to the cleaning program, and do not run it with laundry in the drum.
• Debris filter: open the cover at the bottom front, drain water through the emergency hose into a container, turn the filter counterclockwise, clean it with a soft brush and put it back. Put a towel underneath.
• Detergent drawer: remove it, rinse under running water with a soft brush, and run a rinse and spin with an empty drum to flush out residue.
• Door seal: wipe with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Samsung notes you can use a diluted bleach solution, but warns such products may deform the seal. Wipe and dry.

Signs the machine needs attention: an odor from the drum or seal, water left at the end of the program (usually a clogged filter), and an error message. On models with Smart Check you can scan the error code with your phone and get an explanation before calling a technician.
