Siemens Dishwasher in Israel: Which Model to Choose
The short answer: Siemens dishwashers are imported to Israel by the BSH group, the same group that imports Bosch, and most models in stores are from the iQ100 and iQ300 series. A freestanding Siemens dishwasher with 13–14 place settings and 42 dB costs about ₪2,650–3,470 (NIS), a fully integrated Siemens starts at about ₪2,400 in the iQ100 series and reaches about ₪4,250 for quiet iQ300 models, and a 45 cm (18 in) slim integrated dishwasher costs about ₪2,840–3,560.
This guide is based on product pages and price comparisons at Israeli stores in November 2026, and on the Siemens Israel website. We did not physically test the dishwashers, and we have no commercial relationship with Siemens or the importer.

What to look at before buying
| What to check | What it is | Our recommendation |
|---|---|---|
| Series (iQ) | Siemens divides its dishwashers into the iQ100, iQ300, iQ500 and iQ700 series. The higher the number, the more features. | iQ300 is the best balance for most homes: 42–44 dB and a B rating on the models we checked. iQ100 suits a tighter budget. |
| Installation type | Freestanding, fully integrated or semi-integrated, 60 or 45 cm wide. | In an existing kitchen, freestanding. In a new kitchen, fully integrated. If you want to see the panel, semi-integrated like the SN53ES04TE. |
| Noise | Noise level in decibels per the specs. | 42 dB, as on the SN23EI03KE, SN23EI03ME and SN63HX17BE, is very quiet. 46 dB on iQ100 is reasonable in a closed kitchen. |
| Place settings | 13 or 14 on a full-size dishwasher, 9–10 on a slim one. | For a family of 5 or more, 14 place settings like the SN23EI03ME. For 3–4 people, 13 is enough. |
| Drying | A heat exchanger, or autoOpen Dry, which opens the door at the end of the program. | If dry dishes matter to you, look for autoOpen Dry, which per the listings is on the SN53ES04TE and SN63HX17BE. |
| Convenience features | varioSpeed Plus to shorten the program, varioDrawer as a third drawer, Home Connect for the app. | A third drawer is very useful. varioSpeed Plus is useful if you’re in a hurry. The app is a bonus. |
| Warranty and importer | The official warranty is provided by BSH. | Make sure the page says official importer (yevuan rasmi). The Siemens Israel site offers a 3-year warranty for an extra ₪199. |
Siemens dishwashers: what you get and who imports them
Siemens dishwashers are imported to Israel by the BSH group, which also imports Bosch, so service, technicians and warranty come from the same place; the difference between the brands is mainly design, series names and the range of models in stores.
The Siemens Israel site states that it’s operated by the BSH Home Appliances group, which is licensed to use the Siemens AG trademark. The site offers a three-year warranty for an extra ₪199 on dishwashers, washing machines and dryers, ovens and induction cooktops, where the first year is the statutory warranty and the two extra years are a limited warranty. Per the site, registering the product adds one more month of warranty.
The price comparison page lists about 200 Siemens dishwasher models. Most are 60 cm wide, and many are integrated.
What characterizes Siemens dishwashers, based on the models we checked:
- Quiet: 42–44 dB on the iQ300 models we checked.
- Home Connect: app control on almost every model.
- varioSpeed Plus: per the listings, shortens the program by up to three times.
- varioDrawer: a third drawer for cutlery and small items.
- autoOpen Dry: automatic door opening for drying on some models.
- Water use: about 9–9.5 liters per cycle on full-size dishwashers.
Siemens or Bosch? Since the importer is the same, the decision depends on the specific model, price and availability. At the same price level, compare noise, place settings, drying and a third drawer, and pick whichever is cheaper with the specs you need. To see Bosch’s range, go to our Bosch dishwasher guide.
Who is a Siemens dishwasher less suitable for: anyone with a budget up to about ₪2,000. In that range Siemens models hardly appear, and full-size Midea, Beko or Electrolux dishwashers give 13–14 place settings for less money, with more noise and fewer features. Anyone who needs a countertop dishwasher also won’t find a solution among common Siemens models. In that case, see our countertop dishwasher guide.
What about Shabbat mode? On the Siemens dishwasher models we checked, Shabbat mode doesn’t appear in the specs. The Siemens KB96NADD0 refrigerator is known to have halachic certification, but that doesn’t apply to dishwashers. If it matters to you, ask for written certification from a halachic institute for the model, and consult a rabbi about delay start.
iQ100, iQ300, iQ500 or iQ700: what’s the difference?
Siemens series are labeled iQ100 to iQ700, and in Israeli stores most models are iQ100 and iQ300; the practical difference between them on the models we checked is mainly noise, energy and drying.
iQ100, based on the models we checked:
- SN61IX13TE: fully integrated, 13 place settings, 46 dB, rating E, 9.5 liters, Home Connect.
- SR61HX16KE: slim fully integrated, 10 place settings, 46 dB, rating E, 8.9 liters.
iQ300, based on the models we checked:
- SN23EI03ME: freestanding, 14 place settings, 42 dB, rating B, half load and a third drawer.
- SN23EI03KE: freestanding, 13 place settings, 42 dB, varioSpeed Plus and a third drawer.
- SN63HX17BE: fully integrated, 13 place settings, 42 dB, AquaStop and autoOpen Dry.
- SN53ES04TE: semi-integrated, 13 place settings, 44 dB, rating B and autoOpen Dry.
What this means in practice: the difference between iQ100 and iQ300 is usually 4 dB less noise and a better energy rating. 4 dB is a very noticeable difference in an open kitchen. On the rating, the money difference is tens of shekels a year, no more.
iQ500 and iQ700: on the comparison page we saw more expensive models, such as the SN87TX02CE, a fully integrated 14-place-setting model starting at about ₪6,050. We didn’t check them in depth, so they aren’t on the list. In most homes, iQ300 delivers most of the benefits at a much lower price.
How to read the model code? In the models we checked, we saw a consistent pattern: SN at the start of the code appeared on 60 cm models and SR on the 45 cm model. The digit after the letters was 2 on freestanding models, 5 on semi-integrated and 6 on fully integrated. This is a pattern we noticed in the models we checked, not an official manufacturer definition, so always check the installation type on the product page.
Watch out for similar codes: the SN23EI03KE and SN23EI03ME differ, per the listings, by one place setting (13 vs 14), half load that appears only on the ME, and price range. The SN63HX15BE and SN63HX17BE also look almost identical by code, but appear on the comparison page at different prices and ratings. Before ordering, copy the full code from the page where you chose it, and compare it with the code on the invoice and the appliance’s sticker on delivery.
Integrated Siemens dishwashers: what to check
A fully integrated Siemens dishwasher goes into a niche under the counter and takes a cabinet panel; before buying, check niche height, noise, flood protection and drying, because with a hidden dishwasher it’s hard to spot problems in time.
The integrated models we checked:
- SN61IX13TE (iQ100): 13 place settings, 46 dB, 81.5 cm high, about ₪2,400–2,890.
- SN63HX17BE (iQ300): 13 place settings, 42 dB, AquaStop and autoOpen Dry, about ₪3,680–4,250.
- SR61HX16KE (iQ100, slim): 10 place settings, 44.8 cm wide, 81.5 cm high, about ₪2,840–3,560.
On the comparison page we saw more integrated Siemens models: the SN63HX15BE from about ₪3,130, the 14-place-setting SN63EX04ME from about ₪3,000, the A-rated 14-place-setting SN65EX13CE from about ₪3,190, and the SN61HX00AY from about ₪2,370. We didn’t check them in depth.
What matters in an integrated dishwasher:
- Niche height: 81.5 cm is the appliance height on the models we checked. Check the niche range on the installation sheet, including the plinth height.
- Flood protection: a leak in a built-in dishwasher is discovered late and damages cabinets and parquet. AquaStop appears per the listings on the SN63HX17BE, and in one listing also on the SN61IX13TE and SR61HX16KE. Ask the seller for confirmation.
- Drying: autoOpen Dry opens the door at the end of the program. On an integrated model, make sure the carpenter’s panel doesn’t block the opening.
- Noise: when the dishwasher is hidden, there’s no visual sign that it’s running, so quiet matters even more. Some Siemens models, per the Siemens Israel site, project a light onto the floor during operation.
Panel and installation: the cabinet panel isn’t included in the price. Order it from the carpenter along with the other cabinets, and give them the installation sheet for the exact model.
For a full explanation of the differences between fully integrated, semi-integrated and freestanding, see our integrated dishwasher and semi-integrated dishwasher guides.
How much does a Siemens dishwasher cost in Israel?
A Siemens dishwasher costs about ₪2,400–4,250 in Israel for most common models: iQ100 integrated from about ₪2,400, iQ300 freestanding about ₪2,650–3,470, and quiet iQ300 integrated up to about ₪4,250.
What we saw on price comparison pages in November 2026:
- SN61IX13TE (iQ100, fully integrated): about ₪2,400–2,890.
- SN23EI03KE (iQ300, freestanding, 13 place settings): about ₪2,650–3,470.
- SN53ES04TE (iQ300, semi-integrated): about ₪2,750–3,780.
- SR61HX16KE (iQ100, slim integrated): about ₪2,840–3,560.
- SN23EI03ME (iQ300, freestanding, 14 place settings): about ₪2,880–3,450.
- SN63HX17BE (iQ300, fully integrated): about ₪3,680–4,250.
Compared with Bosch: per our Bosch dishwasher guide, a freestanding Serie 4 like the SMS4ECI28E costs about ₪2,800–4,470, and an integrated Serie 4 like the SMV4ECX26E about ₪2,250–4,900. In other words, prices are in a similar range, and the decision should be made by the specific model.
Compared with cheaper brands: a basic full-size Midea, Beko or Electrolux starts at about ₪1,300–1,800. The ₪1,000–1,500 difference buys mainly quiet with Siemens (42 dB vs 46–49), a third drawer, AquaStop on some models and BSH service.
What to check before paying:
- That the full model code is identical. Siemens has many similar codes, like the SN23EI03KE and SN23EI03ME, differing by one place setting and different features.
- That the seller lists the official importer.
- What the price includes: delivery, carrying to your floor, installation and removal of the old dishwasher.
- Whether there’s a warranty-extension promotion. One listing for the SN63HX17BE mentions an extension promotion, and one listing for the SN61IX13TE an extended VIP warranty.
Where the big gaps are: for the SN53ES04TE we saw a difference of about ₪1,030 between the cheapest and most expensive store, and for the SN23EI03KE about ₪820. For other models, like the SN23EI03ME and SN61IX13TE, the range is narrower, about ₪500. The wider the range, the more it’s worth comparing before buying, and asking an expensive store whether it will match the price.
What does it cost to run? Per the listings, the SN23EI03ME uses about 0.645 kWh per cycle and the SN53ES04TE about 0.635, compared with about 0.937 kWh for the iQ100 SN61IX13TE. If you run a dishwasher about 250 times a year, the difference is about 75 kWh a year, i.e. tens of shekels. It’s a real difference, but it doesn’t justify an extra thousand shekels on the price by itself.
Siemens features worth knowing
The Siemens features that really make a day-to-day difference are a third drawer (varioDrawer), program shortening (varioSpeed Plus) and door opening for drying (autoOpen Dry); Home Connect is a bonus.
varioDrawer: a third drawer at the top of the dishwasher for cutlery, serving spoons and small items. Per the listings it’s on the SN23EI03ME and SN23EI03KE. It moves the cutlery basket out of the lower rack, so more plates and pots fit.
varioSpeed Plus: per the SN23EI03KE listings, shortens washing and drying time by up to three times. Useful when you need clean dishes fast, for example before a Shabbat meal. The shortened program uses more electricity.
autoOpen Dry: the door opens slightly at the end of the program, and the steam escapes. Dishes, especially plastic, dry better. Per the listings it’s on the SN53ES04TE and SN63HX17BE. Per the Siemens Israel site, some models also have a sensor system that measures the amount of water needed.
Home Connect: an app for remote start, downloading programs and a program assistant. Per the SN61IX13TE listings, you can download programs through the app. It’s convenient, but it doesn’t change washing quality.
Half load: the SN23EI03ME has a half-load button. Useful for a couple or when you want to run a few dishes.
Machine cleaning: the Machine Care program is mentioned in the SN23EI03KE and SN61IX13TE listings. Run it every month or two.
Hard water: the Siemens Israel site explains that you can set the water hardness from the control panel or the app. In Israel the water is hard in most areas, so do this on installation day, and fill salt and rinse aid. We cover the settings in our best dishwasher guide.
Service, warranty and common problems
Service and warranty on a Siemens dishwasher are provided by BSH; the Siemens Israel site offers a three-year warranty for an extra ₪199, and per the site a free technician visit and installation within 30 days as part of the promotion.
Before calling a technician:
- Dishes with a white film: salt is missing, or the hardness is set too low. Raise the level and add rinse aid.
- Water at the bottom: the filter is clogged or the drain hose is kinked. Clean the filter and check the hose.
- Odor: residue in the filter and seal. Run a machine-cleaning program and leave the door slightly open between cycles.
- Dishes not dry: add rinse aid. On models with autoOpen Dry, make sure the option is on.
- The dishwasher won’t start: check that the door is fully closed, the child lock isn’t on and no delay start was set.
- Error code: check the manual. Some codes refer to a closed tap or the filter.
Parallel import (yevu makbil): some Siemens dishwashers are sold outside the official importer. In that case the warranty is the seller’s, and programs and menus may differ. On a dishwasher costing ₪3,000 or more that has a pump, heating element and electronic board, one fault can wipe out the saving.
Installation: a freestanding dishwasher connects to an angle valve, a drain and a regular 16-amp outlet (Israel runs on 230V/50Hz). The outlet preferably shouldn’t be shared with a built-in oven or induction cooktop. An integrated dishwasher also requires fitting the panel.
Registration: per the Siemens Israel site, registering the product on the site adds one more month of warranty. Keep the invoice and the full model code.
Which Siemens dishwasher should you choose?
For most homes, a Siemens iQ300 dishwasher is the right choice: freestanding if the kitchen already exists, fully integrated if it’s new, and semi-integrated if you want a visible panel.
By profile:
- Family of 5 or more, existing kitchen: SN23EI03ME, 14 place settings and 42 dB.
- 3–4 people in an open kitchen: SN23EI03KE, 13 place settings and 42 dB.
- New kitchen, limited budget: SN61IX13TE, fully integrated iQ100.
- New kitchen and maximum quiet: SN63HX17BE, fully integrated with 42 dB and AquaStop.
- Built-in with a visible panel: SN53ES04TE, semi-integrated.
- A 45 cm cabinet: SR61HX16KE, slim integrated.
Questions before deciding:
- Is the kitchen open? If so, iQ300 with 42 dB.
- Is the dishwasher built in? If so, AquaStop is a must.
- How many people? 13 or 14 place settings.
- How much does drying matter to you? autoOpen Dry helps.
Before deciding for good, compare with Bosch: same importer, same warranty, and sometimes a lower price for an equivalent model. Compare specs, not logos. And if you don’t have 60 cm, go to our slim dishwasher guide, where we compared all the 45 cm dishwashers, including Siemens and Bosch.
After buying: register the dishwasher on the Siemens Israel site to get one more month of warranty per the site, set the water hardness, fill salt and rinse aid, and run an empty first cycle. That way the dishwasher works properly from day one.
The bottom line
Importer: BSH group (B.S.H.). Common series: iQ100, iQ300.
